A physical team-building activity designed to strengthen teamwork, communication, trust, planning, leadership, and coordinated movement.
Walking Boards is an active team-building challenge in which four participants must move together from a starting point to a finish line while standing on and controlling the walking boards as one coordinated team.
Success depends on much more than speed. Participants must establish a clear plan, communicate continuously, synchronize their movements, and trust one another throughout the challenge. If the team loses coordination, moving forward becomes significantly more difficult.
The activity provides a practical demonstration of how leadership, planning, communication, and individual actions directly affect collective performance.
Because the challenge requires balance and coordinated physical movement, it is best suited to participants with an appropriate level of physical ability and is preferably conducted in a spacious, clear area.
